We engaged Lewis Landscape to redo our backyard. They replaced our Concrete patio with a Paverstone patio, built a new retaining wall, laid a new lawn and laid gravel pathways on both sides of the house. Jim Lewis is great to work with. We hired Lewis Landscaping and they just arrived Friday to do two retaining walls around each of two trees in our front. My husband had done one of the walls years ago, so we had a comparison point. Oh my goodness – these three guys were quick and efficient. My husband is in awe. He worked from home to watch what they were doing and said it was worth every penny. There’s no way he could have done all that. They are also putting French drains in the backyard so the job isn’t completely finished yet. Overall, the work was excellent….. They are not cheap by any means…but they are very good. Also, their warranty is for real. We had a crack in our stone patio about 2 months after completion and they came out and fixed it at no charge w/in just a few days. When I hired Brad he told me he would be my salesman, my landscape designer, my work crew manager, and my warranty contact when the job was complete. I was skeptical, but it was true. It was great being able to work with just 1 person who did all of these jobs so very well.

I lived in Beaverton for years and used Lewis Landscape to keep my house looking nice. They were very affordable and kept my front yard completely done. They trimmed bushes, mowed the lawn, handled fertilization, and generally did it all. I used to try to do this all myself and used to get complaints from neighbors since I couldn’t keep up with the real green thumbs in the area. Lewis saved me.

They landscaped our backyard which included removal of a pond, installation of an irrigation system and a bubbler, installing a lighting system, and putting in some plants. They continue to do routine lawn maintenance as well. Everything has been going well, and we’d definitely recommend the company’s services. We’ve enjoyed working with the individuals who helped with the initial project as well as the ongoing maintenance, the prices are reasonable, and they’ve been responsive to an issue with the bubbler that they installed.

Excerpts from Long Review: Pat, the estimator, came out in September of 2013. He was very knowledgeable about grading the land, so that it would drain well. After the original estimate our plans and timeline changed, so he came out a second time to take measurements and sign the contract. We gave him a 50% deposit and the work was scheduled for June. he owner came the morning the work was started. He said he had his best crew doing the labor and let his 15 year old son work alongside them to start “learning the business”. The 2 men were very hard working….They stayed until after 6PM. The next morning they returned to finish and were done by 11AM. We are very happy with the results and will hire them again for future landscape projects.

Lewis Landscape provided design and construction of both front and backyards. We had a small pond that needed to be filled, patio repaved, a new terrace was built, irrigation and lighting systems installed. On top of that, we were out on vacation and Jim (the owner) sent daily progress reports together with pictures. We came back to find everything done and ready. Could not have been happier with service.

They did a total design and construction project after new home construction. building rock retaining walls, lawn and plant design and planting, Landscape lighting and sprinkler design and install. Total area was 2/3rds of an acre. Design and layout done very well, actual construction was done very well and on time. Actual planting of all items and layout went well. We have had a few 5′-6′ trees-shrubs cypress died and they have been replaced by Lewis on a 1 year warranty. Over all, Lewis has made us a very nice looking landscape for us to enjoy, their follow up was a little slow to start with but has improved very much.
